This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information in connection with MathConcept Canada websites, student enquiries, enrolments, centre services, franchise enquiries and related communications.

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and applicable provincial privacy laws where they apply.

The personal information we collect depends on your relationship with us.

For parents, guardians and students, we may collect:

  • parent or guardian name;
  • contact details, including email address, phone number and address;
  • student name;
  • student age, date of birth, school grade or year level;
  • selected or preferred MathConcept centre;
  • learning needs, assessment information and enrolment details;
  • attendance, progress and centre communication records;
  • payment information where payment is made; and
  • health or safety information, such as allergies or medical conditions, where a parent or guardian chooses to provide it and where it is reasonably necessary to support the student.

For franchise enquiries and franchisees, we may collect:

  • name and contact details;
  • city, province and territory of interest;
  • business background and work experience;
  • education, qualifications and professional expertise;
  • company or business information;
  • financial capacity or investment-readiness information;
  • information shared in enquiry forms, calls, meetings or applications; and
  • other information reasonably required for franchise recruitment, assessment, onboarding, training, support and compliance.

We may also collect website usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, enquiry source, cookies and analytics information.

2. How We Collect Personal Information

We may collect personal information when you:

  • submit a form on a MathConcept Canada website;
  • contact us by email, phone, social media, messaging platform or other communication channel;
  • request information about MathConcept programmes or franchise opportunities;
  • book or attend a consultation, assessment, trial class, meeting or information session;
  • complete a student enquiry, enrolment or franchise enquiry form;
  • communicate with a MathConcept centre, centre director, franchisee or authorised staff member; or
  • otherwise provide information to us directly.

Where reasonable and lawful, we may also collect information from MathConcept centres, franchisees, affiliated entities, service providers, professional advisers, referral sources or publicly available sources.

3. Why We Use Personal Information

We collect, use and disclose personal information for purposes including:

  • responding to student, parent, guardian and franchise enquiries;
  • arranging consultations, assessments, trial classes, meetings and follow-up communication;
  • managing student enrolment, attendance, learning progress and centre communication;
  • supporting student safety, wellbeing and learning needs;
  • providing MathConcept programmes, services, events and updates;
  • processing payments and maintaining business records;
  • supporting MathConcept centres, centre directors, franchisees and authorised staff;
  • assessing franchise enquiries and prospective franchisees;
  • onboarding, training and supporting franchisees and centre teams;
  • managing centre operations, service quality, reporting and compliance;
  • improving MathConcept learning materials, teaching methods, systems and services;
  • sending relevant marketing communications, where permitted by law;
  • protecting our rights, business, brand, confidential information and franchise system; and
  • complying with legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, audit and record-keeping requirements.

We will identify the purpose for collecting personal information before or at the time of collection where required by law.

By providing personal information to us, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of that information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or otherwise explained to you at the time of collection.

5. Marketing Communications

We may use your contact details to send information about MathConcept programmes, services, events, offers, franchise opportunities or updates that may be relevant to you.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link or instructions in the communication, or by contacting us.

We may still contact you for non-marketing purposes, such as enrolment, service, payment, safety, legal or administrative matters.

  • MathConcept centres, centre directors, franchisees and authorised centre staff;
  • MathConcept Licensing Limited and other affiliated MathConcept entities;

  • professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants, auditors and consultants;
  • banks, landlords, suppliers or other parties involved in a franchise process, where relevant;

We do not sell personal information.

Where personal information relates to a child, we limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant enquiry, enrolment, learning, safety, operational or legal purpose.

MathConcept is an international education brand. Personal information collected in Canada may be accessed from or transferred to other countries or regions, including Hong Kong, where MathConcept Licensing Limited is located, and other locations where our approved service providers operate.

Privacy laws in those locations may differ from Canadian privacy laws. Where personal information is transferred outside Canada, we take reasonable steps to protect it and to ensure it is handled consistently with this Privacy Policy.

The senior secondary years (Grade 10-12) are a crucial period for students, where performance directly impacts their academic future and post-secondary aspirations. We specialize in providing rigorous preparation for provincial final exams (e.g., Grade 12 provincial diploma exams across Canada) and crucial university-level prerequisites such as Calculus, Advanced Functions, and Pre-Calculus. Our expert tutors possess the advanced qualifications to guide students through the most challenging aspects of these curricula. Additionally, for Canadian students pursuing international pathways, we also offer tailored preparation for major global exams like SAT, IGCSE, IBDP, and HKDSE. MathConcept First Steps (Kindergarten Age 4 to 5)

Tailored for kindergarten learners, First Steps focuses on building foundational math skills while addressing individual strengths and weaknesses. Using a blend of mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written methods, this multi-sensory approach ensures basic math concepts and logical thinking truly ‘click’ for every learning style, deeply preparing children for primary school.

Target: Suitable for Kindergarten and Grade 1 Students.

Assessment: Students will take a Diagnostic Test before enrollment.

Class Time: Once or twice a week, 45 minutes class each time, depending on student’s need.
